Michael also counsels clients on claims handling issues. He is an experienced litigator, and has handled a broad range of litigation matters in state and federal courts across Texas and the U.S. Michael has significant experience in first-party and third-party insurance disputes involving commercial property, commercial general liability, and homeowners policies. He provides advice and analysis to clients on coverage issues, bad faith avoidance, pre-litigation strategy and dispute resolution, and litigation.

Liberty University, summa cum laude, 2008 and was awarded the Helms School of Government’s Outstanding Student Achievement Award at graduation. He earned his law degree from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law where he graduated cum laude and was inducted into The Order of Barristers. In law school, Michael was champion of the SMU Law moot court and negotiations tournaments, and competed in numerous advocacy competitions, winning multiple competition awards.
