MMichael concentrates his practice on insurance litigation to include: first party litigation, coverage litigation, excess lines, and property. In addition, Michael’s practice includes assisting carriers with policy interpretation, policy drafting, claims handling, and coverage opinions. Michael is currently pursuing the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation in order to provide exceptional service in all insurance matters. Michael is also currently enrolled in the Dallas Bar Association Trial Academy.

Prior to law school, Michael worked in the insurance industry as a property and casualty underwriter for all personal lines of insurance. While in law school, he focused his education on insurance and business law, and in addition to his Juris Doctor he earned the Business Law Concentration Certificate, Excellence in Legal Research Certificate, and his Masters in Business Administration in May 2016. He served as the Editor in Chief of the Business & Bankruptcy Law Journal where he managed a staff of 36 law students, and served on Texas Tech School of Law's advocacy organization, the Board of Barristers, which is ranked in the top 25 nationally and where Michael was ranked a top ten advocate for the class of 2016. He is passionate about cultivating a career in insurance law and commercial litigation.
