Aaron G Stendell
AAaron Stendell focuses his practice on insurance coverage and civil defense litigation. Aaron has represented insurance companies in bad faith and declaratory judgment actions and analyzes insurance coverage primarily involving commercial liability, excess/umbrella, commercial auto, and commercial property policies. He has obtained summary judgment dismissals for insurers in numerous state and federal lawsuits involving coverage issues on liability and property claims, as well as settlements in coverage, first-party, and insurance defense cases. On the civil defense front, Aaron has represented defendants in countless personal injury matters. Aaron graduated cum laude from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law. He was a Dean’s Scholarship recipient and was awarded both the James E. Beckley Scholarship and the Ben Love Memorial Scholarship. During law school, Aaron served as an intern with the Collin County and Dallas County District Attorney’s Offices, where he prosecuted several misdemeanors. Aaron received his B.A in Business Administration from SMU and his M.B.A. with a focus in Finance from the University of Texas at Dallas. Before practicing law, Aaron was a securities regulator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). Aaron is originally from Chicago, Illinois. He and his wife, Jamie, have four children, Ayla, Russell, Adelaide, and Cassandra. When he’s not reading, writing, or dreaming about insurance policies, Aaron enjoys spending time with his family, riding and repairing motorcycles, and coaching his children’s sports teams.
